Jennifer Chaparian: WITS Certified Personal Trainer, Yamina Certified and Massage Therapist. Jennifer brings her in-depth understanding of the human body to her a personal training clients. Her approach has a more subtle tone and is based on stretching and elongating the client. Don’t be mistaken – she can also turn it up and get the heart rate pumping and muscles aching – just watch her teach a (KB)2 Boot Camp!
Dave Ferrazzano: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Associates Degree and Exercise Physiology. Dave has been involved in sports and fitness for most of his life. He holds a certification from the most prestigious Personal Training Certification Organization in the World: NASM. Additionally, he is working toward his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University. Dave has experience with many sports as well as the Martial Arts.

Nykole was put through a series of tasks, including: Movements up and down the floor, Sparring, Grappling and Ground work, Weapons – double sticks (arnis) and Bo Staff (long pole), Kata (Forms or movement patterns), Self Defense and Board Breaking. Nykole began her martial arts training at the age of 2 and has won State and local titles in Kumite (fighting), Kata (movement Patterns) and Self Defense.
Not only is Nykole an avid martial artsist, but the Honor Roll Student competes on the Mahwah Winter and Spring Track Teams, is the President of the Choir, is a member of the St Paul’s Youth Group and is on the MHS Magazine.
was tested for her Black Belt on Saturday, June 25th. The last test that she took was her Jr. Black Belt Test in August of 2006. The 17 year-old’s test this time was for her Adult Black Belt.

Our comprehensive martial training program consists of the many facets of the Martial Arts, making our system a complete Mixed Martial Art. Our system is comprised primarily of the following arts: Burmese Bando, Korean Taekwondo, Filipino Arnis & Kali, Western Wrestling & Boxing, Japanese & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Shamrock Submission Fighting, Jeet Kun Do Principals, as well as Defensive Tactics of various forms. We address the Stand-up, Ground Fighting, Weapons Application & Defense as well as the transitions from one phase to the other by implementing the Four Ranges of Combat.
Our goal is to reach out to as many people as possible and equip our children with the necessary tools to thwart the situations that may occur. In our S.A.V.E.™ our Children Program, we focus on the “3 A’s”: Awareness, Avoidance and Action. We address proper posturing and presentation, how to NOT become a victim and situational responses. The system is presented in 10 modules. In each module a different set of tasks are addressed.

Our class curriculum is built around the development of both ground fighting and stand-up skills. We instruct our students in takedowns, securing top and bottom positions, submissions as well as striking. We designate specific classes for development of skill sets used in the Sport of MMA. Boxing, Kickboxing, No-Gi Grappling and more traditional Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
There are no belts, only one class where a uniform is required. We focus on the skills of BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai, Shamrock Submission Fighting (Catch Wrestling) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu principals.
