American Eagle Martial Arts- AEMAA
Founded by Master Philip G. Ross in 1988. This Mixed Martial Arts is one of the first modern formalized systems to be comprised of various martial disciplines in the Northern New Jersey Area. The arts of Korean Taekwondo, Burmese Bando, Jujutsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Weapons Training and most recently Shamrock Submission Fighting. The System is well suited for defending one’s self in street, competition in the ring, physical fitness, peace of mind and Esteem Building.
The techniques studied and the philosophy employed, have deep roots in the long standing tradition of the Martial Arts coupled with the ability to adapt to the situations and demands of modern day society. Empowerment, fitness, practicality, growth, development of motor skills and Instinctive Technique in a positive environment is the direct result of our methodology.
Master Philip G. Ross: Chief Instructor and System Developer, has been involved in the Combative Arts for over 30 years. In addition to his Instructorship Ranks Bando, Taekwondo, Shamrock Submission Fighting, Arnis, he has won National, State and Regional Titles while competing in a multitude of disciplines.
Master Ross was inducted in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame and is a High School Wrestling Coach for an NJ State ranked team. He has had the good fortune of either training under and/or receiving ranks from:
